I've decided to start a separate blog from the notes or blogs available on myspace or facebook. I rarely use those web pages to say anything profound. I prefer to speak my mind in this type of format opposed to allowing old acquaintances from past jobs and schools to dig up my facebook profile and read as I lose my mind in a five paragraph swear-storm about why everyone in the world is an idiot. If people should take a particular interest in what I have to say, they can choose to read all about it on here.
Essentially I'm making this blog easy for the world to ignore.
I promise that this blog won't be a bunch of quick little stupid thoughts or surveys about my favorite color. This blog will also not be a place for me to go on long, poorly thought-out rants where I spew out brain vomit. This blog will serve a number of purposes:
1) It will be a biography of my life. If I feel that there is a story worth telling from my experiences, this is where it will be posted.
2) It will be a place for well thought-out, thoroughly reasoned rants. These posts will be edited a number of times before they are published. I plan to write about any thoughts or great ideas that I have about movies, music, and people I see on the bus.
3) It will be an outlet for my views on the world. For those of you who know me, you may have figured out that you have to get me nice and drunk before I start talking about my views on the world and how it works. I feel that it's not always appropriate, and often annoying, to be overly opinionated about everything. Certain situations require you to be opinionated, but I hold back during times when someone mentions Jesus or some other subject that triggers my opinion ejaculator, unless my opinions are specifically requested. It's often because I'd rather hear other points of view. It's not typically my aim to change minds. I'd rather invoke thought. It's more of an aim of mine to have my ideas challenged.
My mind has been changed on a lot of topics over the years, and it is often done because people have challenged me to think differently. At times I will not have the most informed or well-rounded viewpoints, and I hope to be called-out on them. I invite you all to tell me when you think I'm being an idiot. It is one of my favorite things.
Welcome To Mutant Vampire Zombies & The Truth About Breakfast.
